Adam collaborates with the student, working through the text and context of the play, to ensure you really understand your audition pieces. The aim is to then find yourself within the piece, connecting personally and truthfully with your own version of the role, demonstrating what you can bring to a performance, and to any drama school.
While classes can be taught online, it is preferred to work face to face. Adam uses the excellent facilities at Bodens College in Islington, five minutes walk from Caledonian Road. They have purpose built acting studios with sound proofing, film and sound recording equipment, and large interactive whiteboards for annotating dialogue or lyrics.
You can work with Adam on Contemporary and Classical pieces, or Acting through Song. At the heart of the work, is getting the performance out into the space - focusing on the person in front of you; remembering we are not working on a monologue or a song, but an important moment in someone's life.
The standard price for the first private acting training session with Adam is £110 for a two-hour session. This includes planning for the lesson following the provision of your pieces, and use of the premises. The two-hour session delivered online is £100.
Following the initial sessions, students requiring more work will be able to book at £50 per hour for all subsequent lessons.
Adam also offers a one off intensive three-hour session for students who already have their audition pieces finalised, looking to take them to the next level prior to their auditions. The cost is £140.
If you have questions about the training, Adam's availability, or how we may be able to help you achieve your goals, don't hesitate to get in touch.
